Uploading, downloading, and moving files around on the web can take a long time. Our product team is always looking at new ways to either reduce clicks or make traditionally long processes more efficient.
Today, we’re announcing a new feature that enables you to copy files across folders and courses! This means you won’t need to download and re-upload files or initially upload a file multiple times across different folders.
To take advantage of this, when logged in, simply click on the arrow at the bottom right corner of the file thumbnail, and you will see the option. Once you click on it, you will have the option to copy the file into selected folder(s)/course(s). The only rules are that you must either own the files (ie, have uploaded them in the first place) or have appropriate upload/download permissions across the appropriate courses and folders.
